Every phase of the moon offers an ideal time to manifest something in your life. When the moon is full, it’s at its peak gravitational pull upon our planet. Waves are crashing, the moon casts a warm glow on the earth, and we’re completing a cycle.

After the full moon, it begins to wane and reflect less and less light. It’s ending its full phase and is beginning to retreat. While it’s in peak position as a full moon, it’s an ideal time to mentally and physically close out this chapter in your life.

The full moon is full of energy. It naturally opens up your soul and creativity to think outside of the box and find new possibilities. Use the night to harness that energy and review your story.

Some things to do on a full moon:

  • It’s a nice moment to pause and reflect on what just happened. Sit under the full moon and soak in its’ light to think about what happened. Are you happy with your path? What can you release? What do you want to focus on next? How can you pivot?
  • After verbalizing what isn’t helping me anymore I like to thank it and release it. There is an ideal time and place for everything, and now’s the time to let go. I’ll even take a small slip of paper and write a sentence of what I’m leaving behind and I’ll place it in a fireproof container and light it up. I like the smell, I like taking action, and I love the extra release it provides.
  • The moon is being lit up by the sun. On these nights the glow can really light up the outdoors in a beautiful ambient light. Some people like to take a moon bath, akin to sunbathing, and enjoy the different mood it provides.
  • Crystals can carry energy. They hold onto positive and negative energy that are set upon them. The full moon can clear out any negative energy and emphasize the positive energy they already hold. When I get new crystals or as I’ve held onto my crystals through good and bad moods, I like to reset on the full moon and lay them out on my tarot cloth in the backyard under the full moon and set an intention on them as they soak in the light. If there are only a few crystals, I’ll line them up on an open windowsill to gather the moonlight.

The full moon is the ideal time to reflect, release, and reload.

  • Reflect on what’s going well, what can be improved upon, and what’s no longer needed in your life.
  • Release what’s no longer necessary.
  • Reload with new intentions or pivot your path.

Enjoy your journey,

Cathy
