How do you know what to do every day? Do you have a to-do list, do what your phone’s reminders urge you to act on, or follow the whims of the day? I am in the first camp with lists pushing me to move. Grateful little check boxes line a path towards success and action are laid out before me. But sometimes I feel like I’m treading water with all the action. I’m in motion, but not moving.
Reading James Clear’s Atomic Habits is making me think about everything I do and what activities actually move the needle. He suggests to “focus on taking action, not being in motion.”
I thought of this spread to check in with myself on the three major areas of my life so that I could decide what my true singular priority was for my waking hours ahead of me.
Enjoy your journey.
Love and light, Cathy
